Helipeller is seeking a highly skilled and motivated eVTOL Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for eVTOL or similar aircraft. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and certification of our eVTOL aircraft.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and test electrical systems for eVTOL aircraft, including power distribution, wiring harnesses, and avionics.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.

  • Conduct simulations, analyses, and validation tests to ensure electrical systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and maintain electrical system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues during prototyping and flight testing phases.

  • Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

  • Support the certification process by providing technical expertise and documentation to regulatory authorities.

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical engineering and eVTOL technology to drive innovation within the team.

Who You are

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry.

  • Proficiency in electrical system design and analysis tools (e.g., Altium, MATLAB, Simulink).

  • Strong understanding of power electronics, electrical power distribution, and battery management systems.

  • Experience with avionics systems and flight control electronics is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and certification processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
