Helipeller is seeking a creative and highly skilled Aircraft Designer to join our innovative design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering and a passion for designing cutting-edge aircraft. This role involves collaborating with various engineering disciplines to create aircraft that meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop aircraft from concept through production, focusing on aerodynamics, structural integrity, and systems integration.

  • Create detailed design specifications, engineering drawings, and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).

  • Conduct aerodynamic analysis, structural analysis, and performance simulations to optimize aircraft design.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing, to ensure cohesive and efficient aircraft designs.

  • Ensure designs comply with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and certification requirements (e.g., FAR, EASA, ASTM).

  • Participate in design reviews, prototype development, and flight testing to validate design concepts and make necessary adjustments.

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in aerospace technology and incorporate innovative solutions into aircraft designs.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and design presentations to stakeholders.

Who You are

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft design or a related role in the aerospace industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering analysis tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS).

  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics, structural mechanics, propulsion systems, and aircraft systems.

  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and certification processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and innovatively.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
